Rainforest Garden
Rainforest Garden

Katie Heeks is a designer-maker from The Wirral who recently graduated from Derby University. She specialises in laser cut birchwood designs to create lighting, mirrors and dioramas.
Katie's dioramas depict flora and fauna silhouettes cut from birch and laminated with textiles. The attention to detail is wonderful and each piece is individually made. Here's what Katie says about her work.
"My work is.....a little world dedicated to people's interests and passions, whether it's animals, music or even gardening, almost anything can be incorporated into these magical worlds".
